Sim Rig Measurements

Reference photos of the cockpit geometry, seat position, wheel placement, and pedal height. Useful for rebuilding the same setup or sharing it with someone copying the rig.

If you're 200+ cm tall, this may be the config for you

Measurements

Each card pairs the photo with the value and a short note on what it controls.

Seat height measurement

Seat height 17 cm

Vertical distance from the rig's lower aluminium profile up to the top of the seat cushion. Sets how low you sit in the chassis.

Pedal plate height measurement

Pedal plate height 15 cm

Height of the pedal mounting plate above the rig's base profile. Combined with seat height this defines the heel-to-hip drop.

Wheel height measurement

Wheel height above seat 53 cm

Vertical distance from the seat base (Sparco logo on the cushion) up to the centre of the steering wheel. Controls how high the wheel sits relative to your lap.

Seat to pedal heel distance measurement

Seat to pedal distance 1.1 m

Distance from the back of the seat base forward to the where your heels rest. Keeps knees a little bent and stops heel coming off the floor.

Pedal spacing and height measurement

Pedal spacing & height 22 × 22 cm

Centre-to-centre distance between the brake and throttle pedal faces is 22 cm, and the pedal pad sits 22 cm above the rig base.

Seat base angle measurement

Average seat base angle 23°

Average tilt of the seat cushion from horizontal - measured with the seat shell mounted on its angled brackets. Sets your hip-to-knee angle and how locked-in you feel under braking.

Head to wheel distance measurement

Head to wheel 65 cm

Distance from where your head rests against the seat forward to the steering wheel - sets the viewing distance to the screens and overall reach.

Wheelbase angle measurement

Wheelbase angle 18°

Upward tilt of the Alpha U wheelbase. Aims the wheel face slightly toward the driver so the wrists naturally line up straight when holding wheel.
